re:arc institute is a first-of-its-kind venture philanthropic incubator established by IKEA’s parent organization— the Interogo Foundation. It is a three-pronged initiative (grants, media, and research lab) supporting ‘architectures of planetary well-being,’ with a focus on social design, climate advocacy, and collaborative academic research.  I was hired by Deem Journal Co-Founder Alice Grandoit-Sutka as the first global marketing and communications manager.

At re:arc, I co-led the strategy, planning, curation, and execution of the incubator’s launch in Copenhagen during the World Congress of Architecture, multiple symposia in London, a podcast series, a digital/print magazine, all digital platforms (web, social, newsletter), academic grants, media programs, and partnerships. I helped grow the brand and audience from 0 to 1; overseeing social channels from 0 to 15k+ followers, events from 0 to 1,000+ guests/VIPs/industry leaders, and press coverage in Architect Magazine, Metropolis, ICON, Dezeen, STIRWorld, e-flux, and ArchDaily

The incubator has since emerged as a leader within the architectural and design space, and received additional funding from IKEA and the Interogo Foundation due to its success as a proof of concept.
